Was Coach’s Halftime Tweet a Distraction?

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament had a first this year, and I’m not talking about the pair of wins by 15 seeds.

Colorado State head coach Tim Miles tweeted during halftime of his team’s 58-41 loss to Murray State.

As you can see, at least one person thought it was a bad idea.

The Rams were outscored 35-17 in the second half after taking a one-point lead into the break.

Miles, though, is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2009-2010, his team was featured on Mountain West TV’s “Reaching the Peak”, which chronicled the team’s season.

Apparently, though, Miles wasn’t the one who actually sent the tweet.
